Hello my lovelies! Sadly my trip to Paris has come to an end and this will be my finally look inspired by Paris. I thought it would cool to do a little transition. If you remember my first Comfy Tourist OOTD you’ll probably realize how similar this look is.
Instead of the denim vest (which is perfect for any travel desintation) I paired this grey maxi dress with my older sister’s boyfriend blazer.
I really hope you enjoyed this series as much as I did! stay tuned for more makeup tutorials.
I am in London, England for the rest of this week. So there won’t be any new posts till I get back home. Make sure to follow all my social media accounts for the latest updates.
We had a day off and my friends and I decided to go shopping at Prinetemps (a huge department store) we went all the way to the top floor and worked our way down. To our surprise there was a huge stained glass window around a pretty fancy restaurant.
My outfit is insipred by this window.
Blue was the main colour in the window, so I went with my long blue maxi dress.
I wanted more colours with my outfit, but it was cold out that day and I didn’t really have too many different coloured accessories.
I’m sure by the title you can probably guess that my outfit today is inspired by the fashion trends I’ve seen around town. One trend that I have really noticed is the denim on denim. I didn’t bring dark enough jeans to try this look out, so I went for more of a traditional Parisian look.
I honestly saw this look by LOTS of ladies out walking around. Cropped jeans, converse, red lip, white tee, black blazer, and hair done however. I think this is probably my favourite outfit so far because of how simple, but yet very Parisian too.
Today I travelled outside of Paris to see Claude Monet’s house and gardens. It’s beautiful, I especially love his Japanese inspired garden where the majority of his paintings are inspired. After the Japanese garden we went to more of a traditional garden with flowers. So many colourful flowers! It had just rained so the pedals still had the perfect picture drips on them.
My outfit is inspired by the colourful flowers of his traditional garden.
Sorry for the terrible lighting, I wasn’t really thinking about the bright white background behind me.
I didn’t bring a lot of colourful clothing with me, so I paried my bright pink top with light pants (to make the colours pop more) and a blue/green necklace.
I went the Palace of Versailles today. So pretty. I also went to see Marie’s apartment, and on the way to her place you walk through the gardens.
I couldn’t do another Marie Antoinette look again so I was looked for something else that could inspire me. It took me a awhile but I decided to use the obvious one: the garden. This outfit is very simple, but still very Parisian fashion.
I love the contrast between the olive green top and my blue jeans. It makes the outfit stand out a little more.
We all need a little prop every once in awhile. Mine: a Starbucks travel mug that says Paris.
Today I got the chance to visit the prison which Marie Antoinette was held prisoner until her death. It was a quick little tour but was very interesting. There were three different types of cells available to the prisoners: 1. just hay on the ground 2. a bed and roomate 3. bed, private room and desk. Then there was Marie’ss room, which had a large bed, a desk, and painted walls, with carpet.
My outfit is inspired by her. Every time I think of Marie I always picture this portrait of her, it may be because Blair Waldorf had a similar one hung in her room. But blue is a very prominent colour shown, so I went with a blue chiffon top and cropped pants for a more formal look. Lots of people said my outfit was very business causal, so you’re welcome to take these simple outfit and use it for your everyday job!
I went with sliver accessories (just my watch and earrings and shoes shown in earlier posts) to ensure the colour blue shows the true blue colour.
The blue shirt I wore was too light of a shade to be included in Marie’s portrait, but I only have so many clothes with me in Paris.
Hope you enjoyed and make sure to follow my social media accounts for tomorrow’s outfit!
Bonjour from Paris!
As I promised here is the first outfit of my Parisian OOTD. Here is a little background on this series:
Parisian OOTD will be my outfits that are inspired by the sites and people I have seen the day before. I will be doing a little write up about how that certain site or photo has inspired me. This is for a school project.
Since this was my first full day in Paris I didn’t have any photos yet to inspire this outfit, so I went for a super comfy go-to-outfit.
Yes I did go see the beautiful Eiffel Tower and actually got to stay till the lights went up. I took the elevator up to the top, but took the stairs down (which I highly recommend because you have a whole new appreciation for the tower)
I went for simple accessories. The bold necklace adds a little more colour to the neutral tone outfit. And I stuck with the sliver accessories.

Hope you are excited for this series as I am.
