Spring Trend #3

Happy Monday my little peeps (I feel like I should have a nickname for all of you, help me decide one?), I am coming to an end of my spring trends…but there may or may not be spring trends for fashion, you’ll have to follow me and my other social media accounts to see. But honestly it’ll probably be more spring/summer trends.

Anyways this is a trend that I’m actually in love with, the orange lip. I know it is a little bold and I haven’t found the guts to wear this look out yet, but I love how it looks on everyone and how bright it can be. If you’re like me I would recommend just trying out a bright lip colour, I know I’ll be purchasing one soon.

So let’s get started:

main pic This is all the products I used on ma face for this look.

I did my normal foundation rountie, and I did fill in my brows with my Anastasia Brow Powder Duo in Caramel very lighty to make it look as natural as possible (I did forget to take a picture of them)

Next are the eyes (sorry for the lighting):

1.) Conceal your eye as a primer for your base

2.) Apply a shimmery champagne colour, I used a Paint Pot in Bare Study to make your eyeshadow pop

3.) Apply your a shimmery champagne eyeshadow to your lid, I used Sin from Urban Decay

4.) Use a brown liner, and line your outer eye with it to make your lashes appear more thick but not as dramatic as a black liner.

Curl and apply your favourite volumizing mascara and your eyes are done!

Next…the lips!

I LOVE the Stila Liquid Lipsticks, this colour dried matte and literary stays ALLLLLLLL day. I didn’t use a lip liner or anything, just applied it to ma lips.

And you have finished the look!

Demi Lovato Style Steal

demi look

Madewell plaid shirt

Black booties

Topshop black handbag
I have always loved Demi’s fashion, so I thought it was time I finally do a post about it. Demi has a more grungey look which I think she pulls off perfectly with her coloured hair.
In this look she wears a basic band tee and ties a plaid shirt around her waist. I honestly would wear this look around town without the leather jacket, but she still pulls it off perfectly.
Her pants are a simple black which can be easily found at any clothing store. You could always substitute the plain black pants for black pants with tears in them which would look very cute with the outfit as well.
Finally she ties this outfit with black combat boots and a cute black tote handbag. I picked boots with studs on them because they gave the whole look a little bit of an edge to the simple outfit.
I hope you enjoyed this post, and stay tuned for a Demi Lovato’s makeup tutorial!

My Empties

It’s finally starting to feel like spring in Canada!!!

I’ve kept the products that I’ve hit bottom on to show all of you, because we all know you’re dying to see my garbage 😉

I would definitely re-purchase this. It was super nice on my sensitive skin, and didn’t break me out!

I would not re-purchase this again, I know some people love it but I hated it. It was a pain to get off and it wasn’t very volumizing. It actually expired before I could finish it.

Finally finished this!! I really did not like these makeup removing wipes. I basically had to scrub my face to get anything off, I did buy them at Forever 21 for about $4. I actually used these wipes up when I pressed my pigments.

Loved this eye makeup remover. My eyes didn’t get irritated at all. I probably wouldn’t re-purchase it because I went through it sooooo quickly and the first makeup remover by Neutrogena I showed didn’t irritated my eyes so I would just use that one.

You may be able to tell that I actually didn’t finish this powder but that was because it took me a long time to figure out that it was breaking out my skin. I obviously wouldn’t buy this again.

LOVE this mascara. This is just a sample size but I fell in love. I would hands down purchase the full size if it was cheaper hahaha.

This used to be my go to mascara but then I try The Rocket Volume Express and fell in love with that one.

I really really liked this product when I was using it but once I stopped I didn’t love it as much. It clogged my pores and I felt like my skin couldn’t breathe under it. It is a pretty good BB cream and I would recommend it I just probably wouldn’t buy it again.

I would maybe re-purchase this. I loved the amount of product that came out, it produced black dark lines but the applicator wasn’t that thin/pointed. There were some days when I had to take the liner off because I looked like a raccoon.

I know this isn’t a beauty product but I happened to finish it while I was collecting my other empties. I would hands down re-purchase it….I actually did. I honestly just love Dove products!

I hope you enjoyed looking at all the products I finished!

Simple Valentine’s Day Makeup Tutorial

Hello my beauties!

I’m you are all well aware that Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Even though I don’t have any plans for that night I thought I could help you girls out with a SUPER SIMPLE makeup tutorial.

Image There is the final look. The camera didn’t really pick up the colours too well.

Let’s start with the eyes:

We first have to prime our eyes. I recomend an actual eye primer (example: Urban Decay Primer Potion) to put under this base. Just to ensure that it will stay all night!

Next we put the shadows on. Place ‘Sin’ (bottom right) all over your lid, you can use this as a highlight. Next put ‘Last Call’ (top second right) in the crease to add a little girly colour to your eye. Then put ‘Smog’ (top left) in the outer V to deepen the look. Finally I put ‘Maui Wowie’ (bottom left) in the inner lid. Add a highlighter to the inner corner to brighten the look (I actually forgot to do that)

Put on your favourite eyeliner and do a simple wing.

Curl your lashes and put on your favourite mascara or put on some false lashes

On to the face:

Pick a nice pink colour for you checks. Mine is Orgasm by Nars. And add a little bronzer

Finally add a nice red or pink colour. The camera did not pick up this colour at all.

I’m wearing: Rhubarb by Bite Beauty

If you try this look out, make sure to Tweet it at me!
